Is anyone familiar with the family of Hans Jorg Kiesel who arrived with Alexander Mack on the Allen in 1729?
I'm trying to trace the parentage of Anna Elisabeth Kislin born in Warwick Township, Lancaster County in 1732. She married George DeHoff and the children of this marriage were all baptised in the Reformed Church.
However, one son, John DeHoff, is said to have been a Dunker minister and founded a church in Maryland at the turn of the 1800s.
This might make some sense if the Kiesel family was originally of the Brethren faith.
Annette DeHoff
