Does anyone have information on the Henry and Catherine Fouch Cook Family. Henry was born around 1765 in Germany and immigrated to America sometime before 1797. Catherine was of German descent. They established their home in Chester Co., PA. Spending most of that time in Coventry Twp. And perhaps E. Vincent Twp. They are believed to have been buried in the Brownback Cemetery of which a reading of the gravestones was to have occurred in 1939 and are on record in the Historical Society of Chester Co., If someone has access to those records I would appreciate if that information could be looked up to see what the birth and death dates were for them. Henry and Catherine had at least 5 children ( Samuel, John, Amos, George, and Elizabeth) and possibly two or more others. Chester Co., Pennsylvania church records Vol 1 have two women marrying , Maria Cook married Isaac Marsteller and a Hannah Koch married John Halteman. Both of these girls are listed as daughters of Henry Cook (Koch). 1820 census information on the Henry Cook family indicate two other daughters besides Elizabeth which has been established. Elizabeth married John Bertolet. At some point they became members of the Church of the Brethren as Catherine's obituary appeared in the Gospel Visitor . Henry died approximately 1840 - 1847. Catherine in 1856. In the 1850 census Catherine was living with her daughter, Elizabeth Bertolet and her family. Henry and Catherine are my great great great grandparents. There son Amos is my great great grandfather. Amos settled first in Montgomery Co., OH and married Elizabeth Noffsinger in 1837. By the 1850 census he appears in Darke Co., Jackson Twp., OH. I have comprehensive information on Amos from that point on. It appears that all of the siblings of Henry and Catherine but my gg grandfather, Amos, remained in Pennsylvania. Does anyone have information that can help me get over the wall.
