Item # 3--the Plattesburg Church (MO) is a well written article, page 1030,

the history of this church.

Jane,
No Ma'am I do not. I am faced with having to purchase a set but plan on
waiting til I get back to the Brethren Heritage Center this fall so that when I
do purchase a set I can help one of my favorite places.
I on occasion hate the BE books. I come across material constantly that I
wonder why it is not in them or things that differ with what is in them.
To date I have found references to congregations in Tennessee(two of
them) that do not appear at all. I have also have found material that did not make
it into the 1920 / 1921 editions of the Southern District of Ohio book. How
about Elder Michael Shotts of Indiana? He is not mentioned in Winger's Indiana
book and in the BE he is associated with another church instead of the one
mentioned in 1883 in the Gospel Messenger.
Frustrating to say the least. Thanks for the thoughts.
