Isn't Harry Zook a delight? So helpful. Looking forward to his update.
Hope his health holds up.
You know Harry makes note of the fact that a descendant of Peter stated that
Peter had been on the Potomac. I have often wondered if Peter Zug could
have been there with brothers Jacob, Henry or Michael in northern Md. Do
you have documentation about Jacob's presence there? I think I have seen a
deed or two. Particularly interested in any Miller references in any of the
documentation. Also, wonder if you have noted any contact with some of the
Brethren families that ended up in Washington Co., Pa. i.e. James Beatty,
Edward Dorsey, Gaspar Feester, Neil Gillespy, Anthony Hardman, Jonathan
Harned, Henry Hartsock, Joseph Hill, Daniel Leatherman, John Miller, William
Miller, Abraham Miller, Peter Shidler, Martin Spohn, Adam Weaver and Peter
Wise. My David Miller lived in middle of these families in West Bethlehem
Twp., Washington Co., Pa. Keep wondering if he came from Md. with these
other families. Just can't identify who his parents were. Thanks.
