Researching: paternal line ARNOLD, maternal lines going back DAUGHERTY, SIMPSON, LUDWIG, WINE, ALBAUGH, BARTH. Other families married into this line: Hoover, Zigler, Leatherman, Biser, High, Long, Garber, Fike, Whipp, Miller.

1. 1st generation Johann Georg Arnold came to America from Germany. Does anyone have information about when he came, where he was from, his parents, and where he arrived and settled? Was he associated with the "Brethren" before immigrating? Or did he become part of that community in America? Some of his grandchildren settled in WV, Hampshire (Mineral) Co.

2. I'm particularly interested in information and stories about the people, where they lived, etc. I have some information and will be glad to share.

3. My Mom started this genealogy and didn't always write down the sources of her information. So if anybody can help verify dates, etc. I'd be very appreciative.

4. Just in case...if somebody has an extra copy of "Allegheny Passages" I'd be glad to buy it from you!
