While this would appear to be mainly concerning those of the Shaker
affiliation, this is a terrific website because it covers a vast range of information,
including "Related Religious & Social Movements" :

The longer I live the more privileged I feel to have spent three of my
teenage years at Otterbein Home/Lebanon, OH (now Otterbein Retirement
Community)...and I well recall the Shaker Schoolhouse (in the area earlier known as Union
Village) featured on Pg.1 of this website. Our highschool girls' dorm was
immediately to the right of the Shaker Schoolhouse (the latter of which we used for
our gym). Our dwelling itself was also a famous Shaker bldg., their Meeting
House. Those two long gone...alas...although Marble Hall, the Shaker's
administration bldg... has been preserved in all it's unique lovliness. In later
years I also lived near the famed Shaker area along Watervliet Avenue, in
Dayton, Ohio. All of this in one lifetime!:">)
