Aug. 1862 page 226 Gospel Visitor
Died in Nettle creek church, Wayne county,
Ind. on June 21, 1862 sister ANNA DITCH, wife of br. Alexander Ditch and
daughter of br. Daniel Ulrich, aged 24 years, 5 months 19 days. Funeral
discourse by br’n George Hoover and Daniel Bowman from 2 Cor. 5: 1.
Husband, father, friends, all so kind,
On earth I leave you all behind,
But indulge not in tears for me.
For what I a you some us be.

In life serve God with all your heart,
And then when from this earth you part,
We all may meet with Christ above,

April 1866 page 128 Gospel Visitor
Died in Huntington county, Ind. January 27, SAMUEL ULRICH, age 19 years
and 3 days. His sickness was of long standing, within which he became a member
of the church. He did in hope of a glorious immortality. John H Ulrich.

April 1864 page 127 Gospel Visitor
Died at Ephrata, Lancaster county, Pa. January 28, brother MICHAEL ULRICH,
formerly of Berks county, Pa., aged 71 years and 9 days. He was found dead I
his bed in the morning, supposed cause palsy or apoplexy. Funeral services
from Mark 13: 35-37 by brethren C Bomberger and Israel Myers.

May 1864 page 159 Gospel Visitor
Died in Elkhart church, near Goshen, Ind. March 13th last an infant
child of brother Jacob W Ulrich and Mary, his companion, aged 1 month, 2 says.
Funeral service from 2 Sam. 12: 18-24. This is the sixth child for our brother
that died in their infancy, 3 of his first wife, then the mother and now also
3 or his second wife, and he not yet being 40 years of age. Jacob

Did in Rock Run church, Elkhart county, Ind., July 30, child of our
beloved brother Levi ULRICH and his wife, aged 1 year, 8 months and 20 days.
Funeral services by the writer and others on Mark 10th. Jacob Studybaker.

July 1860 page 224 Gospel Visitor Died in the same church June 10, sister
CATHARINE ULRICH, consort of brother Daniel Ulrich, aged 61 years, 11 months,
and 13 days. She was a kind wife, mother and neighbor, mourned by all. Both
the foregoing funeral occasions were improved by the brethren before large
multitudes of people:
