The Fasnacht references in the book La Verne - the Story of the People Who
Made a Difference are about Dr. Harold Fasnacht, his wife, two daughters, and
his twenty-year career as an outstanding president of La Verne College.

His autobiography, however, contains details about his ancestory.

His Great-grandfather ________ Fasnacht was born in Pennsylvania.
His Grandfather, Martin B. Fasnacht was born in Ohio. He married Rosann
Hepner and in 1886 moved to Kansas.
His father, Clyde Fasnacht, married Lorena Mae ("Lola") Frantz, daughter of
William and Mar___ (Harnish) Frantz, and moved to Colorado. Lorena Mae passed
away while Harold was young: his father remarried,
