Thank you for this information. If I understand it correctly, we can
conclude either

1. we have John Nicholas Martin married to the wrong spouse

or

2. The John Martin married to Mary Ulrich, daughter of Daniel, was
not the son of Nicholas Martin born 1721.

I found a note with some of the info I had stored away. It was from
Diane Miller, dated June 17, 2003:

>born 1767 married Elizabeth Martin born 1772, daughter of John
>Martin and Maria Ulrich.

I believe Gladys Royer was involved in that discussion, also, and I
see a message from you about that same time.
