Hi, Pat:
Here's another one to consider:
Samuel ULERY, b: Either 1802 OR 24 Mar 1803, Montgomery Co., OH, m: 13
Apr 1824, also Mont. Co., OH, d: 08 Oct 1833, Tippecanoe Co., IN. s/o
Rev. David ULRICH, Jr. (my #16) and Susannah WOLFE.
M; Elizabeth METZKER, b: 1806, Bedford Co., PA, d: 03 Feb 1879 Flora,
Tippecanoe Co., IN. (She 2m: Jacob WAGNER, 22 Nov 1842). D/o Mary
PUTERBAUGH and Jacob METZGER, Sr.
I show 4 ch: 1) Jacob ULRICH/ULLRICH, (my #22), b: 12 Apr 1826, m:
18 Sep 1848, d: 04 Jun 1899. M: Susan REPOGLE (16 Oct 1830-1913) d/o
Barbara ULERY and Christian REPOGLE.
2) Susannah ULRICH, b: 1827, m: 23 Feb 1845, d: 09 Mar 1866. M: Joel
WAGONER (1824-15 Nov 1872). At least 2 ch: Barbara and "Ad???"
3) Mary ULRICH, b: 1828, m: 24 Apr 1848, d: 1917. M: Daniel C.
WAGONER (1827-6 Feb 1901), s/o Susannah CRIPE and Jacob WAGONER.
4) John ULRICH (my #57), b: 29 Jun 1832, m: 04 Sep 1853, d: 31 Oct
1875, Carrol Co., IL. M: Esther SHIVELY, (01 Jun 1849-29 Apr 1922).
Sources: pg 140 of "Registry of Marriage Certificates recorded in
Montgomery Co., OH, 7/26/1803 to 7?20/1851", Dayton Public Library, OH,
"Metzger Family History" by Mrs. C. E. Metzger (Willowdean RICKEL),
1981, at North Manchester Public Library, IN, (pgs 8, 14 and 15) and
FGSs on Samuel and Jacob {possible other sources there).
So, yes, there were Samuel ULERY/ULREY/ULLRICHs, born in 1801, 1802
and 1803 ... and probably others that you and I haven't as yet found!
