I need to be more careful with my terminology. Virgil Miller uses the term
Amish-Mennonite, and has their migration beginning in 1736. Virgil's book
deals with the Amish branch of the Mennonites, and the Stutzman connections
he discusses are with Amish who lived in Berks County. Just for the record,
the first Mennonites in PA came in 1683 at the invitation of William Penn,
and there are references to Mennonites in the Dutch colony of New Amsterdam
(New York) in 1644. Anyway, primary purpose of original response was to
point out Virgil Millers information on the subject.
