Tex and John come from the NC Ritters (all believed descended from Jesse
Ritter who lived in Moore Co., NC in the 1700's). Donna Ritter Riley, who
started the Ritter DNA project with FTDNA, is from that family, and has
recruited 7 participants, all of whom share a y-chromosome
signature. We've made less headway with the many PA and MD Ritter
families, but are starting the reach a critical mass. The results so far
can be seen at http://www.stanford.edu/~philr/RitterDNA/RitterResults.html.
