My ancestor John D. MILLER was born in 1812 in Montgomery County,
Ohio, the son of David MILLER (born 1781, son of Daniel, grandson of
Philip Jacob--I know these names are all-too-common). But who was his
mother? In 1805 this David seems to have married Catherine GEPHART
(Kephart, etc.--the widow of the recently-deceased Peter) in Warren
County, OH, and later in life he married Martha Drake. But by David's
grave in Baintertown Cemetery, Elkhart County, Indiana, is the
tombstone of Elizabeth Miller, wife of David, died 8/19/1838 age 60 y
8 mo.

Who is this Elizabeth? In a (WPA?) list of Miami County marriages, we
find a David Miller marrying an Elizabeth Falkner with no given date.
Does anyone have an idea when this marriage might have taken place?
Does anyone know what happened to Catherine Gephart Miller? For that
matter, does anyone know more about the identity of this widow
Gephart?
