Ferne,
Question: Who was John Jacob Miller's second wife and where did they live in
Kansas?

John Jacob Miller, 1823-1897, was born in Darke County, Ohio near Oakland
Church of the Brethren. His first wife was Nancy Rohrer, 1821-1887.

His obit states that he died in Kansas and his remains were brought back to
Ohio. The funeral service was held at the Oakland Church and burial at Oakland
Cemetery.

The obit also says that he had married a second time in Kansas, 1888. I do
not know who he married in Kansas or where they lived.

John Jacob Miller was the son of Jacob and Mary Michael Miller, grandson of
David and Magdalena Miller and great grandson of Philip Jacob Miller.

Hopefully, he and his second wife are mentioned in the book, "Brethren
History of Kansas Book/1922."

Any help is greatly appreciated.
