where might I go to get information on the Vindicator & the Old German
Baptist Brethren?

The new edition of "The Vindicator", a publication of the Old German
Baptist Brethren, obituary summaries for the years 1870-1999 is
currently available in four printed volumes for the letters A through R.
The remainder is a work in progress. Each volume is 25.00 plus shipping,
as I understand, and are available from Doris Clark by telephone
1-574-875-5559. A monumental accomplishment, each obituary is abstracted
listing decedents name, usually birth, marriage, death dates and places,
names of parents, spouse[s] and children, often with sons and
daughters-in-laws names and place of burial. The year and page number on
which it appears is listed. Each is cross referenced with other
obituaries, so the family units are easily identified.
