removed?

But are you sure Nora's father was John Stover?

Wanger shows Nora as born 12/21/1849 in La Porte, IN. And he shows her
father as Henry Stover (born 1/19/1816 in Botetourt Co., VA & died
12/27/1888, place unspecified. He married Sarah J. Barber, born 9/24/1825,
KY, d. 5/26/1906, Barton Co., KS. (p 524-25). Henry probably died there
too. Is Great Bend KS in or near Barton Co.?

Henry would have been a brother to my great grand-mother, Mary "Polly"
Stover, b. 1819.

Henry and Mary "Polly"'s father was John Stover (1776, PA-1829, Bot Co.,
VA) m. Catharine Snyder 1801 in Botetourt Co. VA.

John Stover's mother was Catharine Price, daughter of John Price, Jr. and
Mary Ann Stoner.

Henry and Mary "Polly" Stover did have a brother John, whom I show (based on
Wanger) as born 2/25/1805, in Botetourt Co., VA, and dying 3/25/1846 in So
Bend, IN. -- 3 years before Nora was born. Wanger shows John with 3 sons,
George, Lewis, and August, and other children whom he doesn't name.
