Though the readings are available at the Brookville Hist. Soc.
(http://brookville.dcoweb.org/index.htm, phone 937-833-0285), I suggest that
your ancestor would not be buried there. The cemetery is very near the
western border of Madison Twp. near the intersection of Diamond Mill Rd. and
Wolf Creek Pike and a long ways from U.B. publishing in Dayton. Not a daily
commute in those days.

Does anyone have a listing of the old Pfoutz\Foutz cemetery in
Montgomery County, Ohio?

Thank you.
Pat

My Foutz line is Martin Foutz and Susanna Ehrhart of Preble and
Montgomery Co., Ohio.

Martin b. 1826 d. 1873 (suicide)
I believe he is the son of Jacob Pfoutz and Catharine Shock,
but have not proved it yet. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Martin & Susanna's daughter Carolyn (Callie) Pfoutz is my great
grandmother.

Callie b. 1870 married Harry Hardesty b. 1867

Harry worked for his grandfather, Soloman Von Neida, at the
United Brethren Publishing Company in Dayton, Ohio.
