I have looked for this name in the various references I can think of and
haven't found it... can you help me with the references you have that
suggest he was Church of the Brethren? Remember that in 1875 the Church of
the Brethren was known as the German Baptist Brethren and was not known as
the Church of the Brethren until 1908. There were a few German Baptist
Brethren who went to Canada at the time of the Revolution but I can find no
reference to Mission work in the Bahamas unless it was a private
effort...Maybe you can help me further.
