I am interested in the father of John Younce, Joseph, listed in Sharon's biography of John as moving to Greene County, MO in 1859/60. Were they acquainted with the Cedar County MO group who arrived earlier and dispersed when the battle southwest of Springfield, MO occurred in Sept, 1861? The migration route of this Younce family is not the same pattern as others who came to MO. I am curious as to the possible ties they might have had with other brethren in the area. I have an "S." Younce who came from Indiana, worked some with the Arkansas churches, and returned to Indiana [1880].
Can anyone working with the Younce families tie S. Younce to other family members? Thanks. Jane Davis.
