Hello to June, Kim, Cathy, and Candy,

Hey you people are light years ahead of me. I can't get my John Keller
from Pendleton Co WV to PA. I do know that he had many children and my
g.grandfather had 12 that I can find. Some of the names passed down are
John (of course) Philip, Jesse, Adam, Jacob, Joseph, Issac and for the
girls Emily, Isabella, Catharine.

It would seem most of these men worked in mines and all had good
carpentry skills.
One family oral history says that the John of 1787 came to the US when a
lad of 17yrs. Which would be about 1804. I first find them in the 1810
census of Pendleton Co. VA John (1787) is listed as born in PA and his
wife Mary listed as born in VA.

Thanks to all of you for the replies and it looks to me like some of you
are searching the same roots. Good luck

Billie Jane
