I just answered a message to Ralph Tewksbury, and told something that
others of you might be interested in knowing:
-the Brethren Church at Vaughn twp York Co. Upper Canada was named: the
Cober Church -and it continued as an "old order" church till just a couple
years ago (the building is still there, I understand).
The Black Creek Pioneer Village (Steele Ave and Jane St -near 400 and 407
-north Toronto -south of Maple) contains many of our family and community
original buildings and even one of the churches. Its real nicely done -and
well worth seeing. The buildings were moved from their original sites and
collected as a bigger village than any we had back then.
