I have notice the Hartman name several times lately. I remember that at
Greene, Ia. (Butler Co.) there are a few Hartman graves in a pasture that
belonged to my gggrandfather William Kingery. There are also children of
William and Mary Kingery in the same little plot. William Kingery also
came from the Union Co. Indiana area prior to the Carroll and Howard Co.
Indiana location. William and Mary went on to Iowa in 1856 as I remember so
I would guess some of the Hartmans moved along with them about the same
time.
