Adaline Young Keever wife of John and daughter of Adam & Hannah and her
husand John M. both died in Ind. and appear on the obit list..of Church of
the Brethren...

The Gospel Messenger Nov 20, 1937..

Keever, Sister Adaline, daught of Adam and Hannah Young, was born in
Lewistorn, Mifflin Co, Pa. Mpv/ 17, 1851 and died at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. John Hibner, at Monticello, Ind, Sept. 30, 1937. She came
with her parents to White Co, Ind. in 1864. Dec 23, 1875 she was married
to John M. Keever, who preceded her in death. They celebrated their golden
wedding anniversary Dec. 23 1925 To this union eight children were born,
four of whom preceded her in death. She leaves four children, twenty
grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one brother and two sisters. Bro.
and Sister Keever united with the Monticello Church of the Brethren early
in life and remained faithful. Funeral services were conducted in the Pike
Creek house by her pastor Bro. Fred Hollingshead with interment in the
nearby cemetery. Mrs. Gertrude Hibner, Monticello, Ind.

Keever, John M. son of Geo. and Susan Keever, born May 4, 1851 in Mifflin
Co, Pa., died Sept 13, 1931 in the hospital, Logansport, Ind. He spent the
greater part of his life in Indiana, having moved to this state with his
parents in 1854. He was married to Miss Adaline Young in 1875. He seerved
the church faithfully as a deacon since 1888. He was acctive in
Sunday-school and church work as long as his health permitted Surviving are
his widow, two sons, three daughters, brother, sister, twenty grandchildren
and five great grandchildren. Funeral at the Pike Creek church. Interment
in the cemetery near by. A.R. Showalter, Monticello, Ind.

Of the children.. J.C. or J. Clarence m. Orpha Workman and died in Colo..
in 1936
and Rudolph G m. Mae Dilling and died in IL in
1953
