Judy,
I searched through the history of the Washita, Oklahoma, congregation
which would be the closest congregation, as far as I have been able to
determine, to Caddo County, and Hydro, as found in the 1922 history,
"A History of the Brethren in Texas and Oklahoma, 1891-1922" by James
H. Morris. (Higley Printing Co., Butler, Indiana).
I found no mention of any Lehman family within this congregation, but
NOT ALL members are mentioned. The index (which is not complete)
mentions Josiah Lehman (as the only Lehman) on eight different pages.
His family is mentioned on page 500 and 501 in relationship to their
50th wedding celebration in1922 in the Guthrie, Oklahoma congregation.
His wife's name is not mentioned, but nine children are mentioned,
Arthur (from Alabama) Mohler (California), Alice Mohler (Missouri),
Elizabeth Hays (Missouri), Birdie Morris (Chicago), Lessie Ross
(Crescent, OK), John (Guthrie), Edward (Guthrie), and Homer
(apparently Guthrie, OK), the youngest, who died just prior to the
50th anniversary celebration.
Sorry.
Jim
