<< Can you give me any further clue... dates, etc.?

The info again with death dates added
I am searching for the parents of John David Myers, Sept. 13, 1815,
Maryland, d. Jan. 7, 1888, Huntington Co., Indiana -- and his wife, Esther
Thomas, b. Jan 16,1819, Ohio or Pennsylvania, d. Oct 9, 1899, Huntington,
Co., Indiana. They were married 1839 in Holmes Co., Ohio.
- This family went to the Clear Creek Church of the Brethren on state road 9
north (co. road 800 N) of Huntington, Indiana. They are both buried in the
Shock Cemetery. The church which stood at that site is now gone.

IGI 1993 edition, gives a birth for John D. Myers, 13 Sep 1815, Anne Arundel,
Maryland, father, Joseph Myers

I have a copy of an article done on the newly remodeled and redecorated Shock
(Clear Creek) Church of the Brethren - given to me with no dates of course,
but around 1948 - The article states that taking part in the dedication of
the first church building, were.....John Myers and his wife (My mother heard
her grandmother talk of her parents belonging to this church, also. Her
grandmother, Emmaline Myers Fisher, belonged to the "Block Church'" in
Roanoke)

That is about all I can tell you - I could give you info on their family, but
don't think that would help - if so, let me know---- some of their children
were born in Starke Co., Ohio - a possibility is that they lived near the
county line in Starke Co. and went across to Holmes Co. to be married. (lots
of possibilities, ha!)

Thanks for taking the time to look up the records
