Oh finally, more researchers interested in the folks that came on the
"Neptune", the "Brotherhood", the William and Mary", the PA Merchant",
the "Samuel", the "Phoenix" and get this trend of early Swiss mennonite
and Brethren examined as far as the travel to Lancaster PA to York Co PA
where many are in Conestoga, Conewago and Codorus COB churches. Keep me
post on this matter, I gave up years ago trying to understand who was on
them and which were Brethren and which went to be United Brethren. I can
no longer research this idea but am interested in the findings. Tracking
the family and community similarities combined with the ship they all
came in on helps when you track the ancestor in the communities of York
Co PA to the travels of Frederick CO MD.
Sounds like a project for the List to see the names on the ship and
the generation names that left MD and PA for OH! regards, Karen
