I am searching for info on my father's line. He comes from a line of
Bauman's from WI. I have VERY LITTLE information, but am hoping someone can
help. I am not sure if they were Brethern, Lutheran, Catholic nothing. All
I do know is that...

John Burton (or Burton John Bauman)b. 10/24/1905 d. 11/1961, and Margaret
Seelman, b. 6/14/1906 d. 3/16/1997, married and had six sons - Bradley,
Burton, John, Bill, Tom and Mark. (Tom is my father)

John Burton was the son of "Henry Bauman" b. 1875 d. 1917 (he committed
suicide - which leads me to believe he wasn't Catholic)and Catherine
Mahoney, b. 1874 d. 1948, d/o John Mahoney & Margaret ???.

I think the reason this is so hard on me is that these people are my direct
name sakes. My father is living, but knows nothing of his father or his
family. His father left his mother with all 6 boys when the youngest was
11.

I would appreciate any help you could give.
