When Amazon or Barns & Nobel say that it will take anything other than 2 or 3 days to ship an item, it means that they DO NOT HAVE IT IN STOCK, and they are betting that they can get it. Many times they can't. It is just their way of doing business. So, if they are saying a week or more, you might want to keep looking before you order.
