Pat,
Sorry, based on previous researchers work, Henry Warner/Werner, the
patriarch of the family was also the immigrant, and he raised his family in
Bedford Co., PA and took all of them and their families to Montgomery Co. OH
ca. 1810. They definitely were Brethren as they were charter families in
the Salem COB which was organized in 1817 and is located on the NW corner of
Diamond Mill and Phillipsburg-Union Rds., Clay Twp., Montgomery Co., OH.
Later they moved en masse to Newberry Twp., Miami Co. By the way, there was
an old Yount family that was also COB in Miami Co. as well.

Hi
I am very interested in the Warner surname. I have a Phillip
Yonts/Younts married to Mary Ann Warner in N.C. They had a son John
Warner Yonts who was my gg-grandfather. Does anyone know anything about
this branch? I would be grateful for any information or leads. I know
that most of the Yonts family were Lutheran Reformed but I'm not sure
about the Warners. Some of Phillips brothers and at least onr uncle
were Brethren.
