Cooper, who is now deceased, did two additional books after the
Singing Hills. They are The Church in the Valley (Brownsville
Congregation, in SE Washington Co., Md, formerly a part of the Middletown
Valley overall Congregation) and last, the book A Pleasant View, which is
the history of the Broad Run/Pleasant View Congregtion. Both these
congregtions grew out of Brethren settlements which were established in
the late 1700s and are very historic.
If interested in the Pleasant View book, the price is $25.00 plus
$5.00., and you can order from Glenna Moser, Book Committee P O Box 3,
Middletown, MD 21769. Both these books are hardbound with several hundred
