Hi!

Just cleaning my email and saw your note about being bounced by rootsweb
and thought I would write. Actually have been wanting to post a question to
you and the others on the Brethren list. I am trying to establish or disprove
the fact that there used to be a church of the Brethren church in the now
defunct town of Dora, Wabash Co., In. [not the Dora Christian church ... the
Brethren church is said to have been closed? And the building sold and moved
to or near Lincolnville and used as a barn. If there was said church, would
you know where any records might be?
This leads to my second question. I have at least two sets of great
great grandparents [George and Mary Grimes Sills and Jacob and Elizabeth
Rickert Shelly ] are believed to be buried in the old Dora [AKA Parrot]
cemetery which lays near the Salomonie Dam. I have traversed this small
cemetery many times over the years. I am wondering if any records [besides
the book by .... Argh ... I forget his name .... He teaches history in
Wabash. I know that isn't much help! ..... might exist for this cemetery.
