Discussion of UTZ family members prompts me to post this message,
"relative" to one of my brick walls:

I am trying to locate the parents of my great-great grandmother, Sarah
UTZ (abt. 1818 - 1873), who md. Peter BRILLHART (1819-1902). Census
records show Sarah born in PA. Peter was born in York County, PA. Sarah
probably died in Henry County, Ohio, which is where Peter died.

Sarah UTZ and Peter BRILLHART where married in Stark County, Ohio on March
17, 1842. Marriage records list them as Peter BRILHART and Sarah UTZEL.

Also md. in Stark County were Martha UTZ (b. abt 1830) and Moses BRILLHART
(b. abt 1825). They were md . on December 30, 1847 and she is listed as
Martha YUTZEY. In 1860 they were in Crawford County, Ohio.

I also have a Mary Ann UTZ (b. abt. 1804), md. Christian BRILLHART (b. 1805).

Moses and Peter were brothers, sons of John BRILLHART and Catharine DOWE.

Christian BRILLHART (who md. Mary Ann) was the uncle of Moses and Peter
B. Christian's parents were Christian B. BRILLHART and Mary WEBER, both
buried in Stauffer's Cemetery near Jefferson in York County, PA.

If anyone would like to compare notes on this branch of the UTZs, let me know.
