Thanks for your response Dee, Bob and Gerald
It is really nice to hear from you.
Dee
No I am not familiar with the private publication "Gene...Brumbach Families"
Was this a typo? Do you know where it may be available? I'm going
to attempt to find it through family members if I can't purchase it.
I really don't have much info. Your message actually gave me more than I had.
Do you know the name and any info of Jacob J Brumbaugh's first wife? Six
children were born from this marriage. Married near Funkstown ( Hagerstown )
Maryland. About 1760.
Bob
I'll be glad to forward any info I get that does not appear on the list serv.
Be sure to ask anything that relates to the three descendants
we share. I don't have much though
You may be interested to know that in the Juniata College library I
stumbled across a book in their archives collection. Within it was a hand -
drawn map of Marklesburg, PA. It showed your descendant David's home
sitting just outside of town. The houses were listed according to who lived there
at the time. My own independent source states " They lived in the stone
house on the edge of Marklesburg " David was very involved
in the town's affairs through his lifetime.
Gerald
We'll see what we can hunt down from across the Atlantic! Keep in touc
