Jonas Miller b. 20 Sep. 1784, Lancaster co. Pa. md. Mary Magdalena Klee
or Clay, June 1807. Jonas's father was said to be a native of
Switzerland.
In visiting with a descendant in the 1980's he told me that the family
had talked about Love Feasts and foot washings. Jonas moved to Centre
co. Pa. in 1814 and attended the Penn's Creek Lutheran Church. later
moved to Wane, Stark and Medina co. Oh. last to Freeport, Ill.
His granddaughter md. into the Fye family from Cambria co. Pa. this
family was very active in the United Brethren Church. the Fye's trace
back to Conrad Fye ca 1774 and Elizabeth Strayer from Germany to
Bedford co. Pa.
I need some help on who the parents and siblings of Jonas Miller were.
He named his sons William, David J., Jacob, Jonas Christian. Hope some
one has a link to this Miller family. Nancy Hartman
