I just found the following post on a site and thought someone on this list
might be interested. I am in no way connected to this book.

"The Linville Creek Church of the Brethren in Rockingham Co., VA, has just
reprinted The Olive Branch, an historical account of the Brethren and
Mennonite experiences during the Civil War. It is filled with tidbits of
history, suffering, paid, relief, and stories of how a pacifist people
survived during those harrowing war time experiences. Originally published
in 1907 by Sanger and Hayes, it has long been out of print. Linville Creek
Church has long been the home of the BOWMAN, MOYER, LAIR, MILLER, KLINE,
YOUNT, GARST, WINE, GARBER, CROUSE, and many other familiar family names.
This soft over, 232 page book is available from the following address.
Cost is $12.95 plus $2.00 shipping.

Shenandoah District Office, PO Box 248, Dayton, VA 22821"
