Jewel McDaniel,
Below you mentioned a photograph possibly being of the Albert J. Smith
Family.
Albert John Smith, and Emanuel Jeston Smith (both Brethren ministers)
were brothers of my grandmother, Florence (Smith) Moyers (all children
of minister William Smith). I have not had any contact with any of
the descendants of Albert J. Smith, if any are remaining. According
to family records kept by Emanuel Smith, Albert J. married Nannie J.
RINK, and had three children,
1. Geo. Elmer, b. 1886, who married Mabel BUTCHER, b. 1889
2. Clarence Albert, b. July 18, 1890, died Aug. 7, 1890
3. Earl Clifford, b. Aug. 8, 1895, "died young"
I wish we had an obituary of Albert J. Smith to identify his
descendants; I believe that he died in Boise, Idaho, probably in the
1930's. An obituary is probably available in the Gospel Messenger,
but I've not attempted to find one.
I have several photos of Albert J. Smith that I could compare with
yours if you wish to send me a photocopy of your picture. However,
with Albert and Nannie Smith having only three children, and two dying
very young, I'm skeptical that your photo is that of the Albert J.
Smith family.
