I'm still learning and having to do lots of map checking etc., but it
appears
that the South Keokuk (the County..., not the town..., they are far apart)
CoB (which closed in 1998) is the nearest to Jefferson Co., IA of any
churches in Iowa. It was established in 1858 after existing under the
care of Libertyville Church and then English River.

The text indicates that Brethren families moved to the area about 1850.
The Keokuk/Jefferson County lines are only a few miles south of the church
location.
