I think I missed the beginning of this thread.

Glen Draper and I are from the same Jacob Miller line that moved from Mt
Carroll IL to Ivester IA. My Grandfather moved to southern MN before 1920
and on to the rest of the west. I have no Gleydon or Ron in the line, but
a lot of potential fathers born in the 1870-80s without children listed. I
think all of the Iowa lines were in Ivester before spreading out to other
areas. Worse yet, there was another Jacob Miller, about the same age as
ours with no known ancestral connection who also in tiny little Ivester,
who also had children who married into other Ivester area families in the
late 1800's.
