Donna,

William Berckebeil b. Dec. 26, 1796 Bro. Valley Twp., Somerset Co. Pa was
the son of Jacob Berckebeil Sr. and grandson of William "The Quaker". What
I have lists William as having married Susanna Kyle. It is possible that he
also married a Wolford as his sister Mary Berckebeil married William
Wolfert. There were alot of Williams, Jacobs ect. in the family and this
has caused alot of confusion so perhaps another William Berkebile did marry
a Polly Walford.

I have the same children listed for Jacob Sr. as you have.

I have some files on the history of the Birckenbuehl family, I have the
will of Andreas Birckenbuehl/Perkapeal father of William "The Quaker" as
well that I can send as an attachment to anyone who is interested. Just
