Dear Mary,
Jacob Zety left a will which is more like a contract between him and his
wife. It is written in German and probated in Lancaster Co in 1750. I have a
copy of it which is hidden away in a place I know not. If we could get at
least approximate birth dates for Frena and Peter, we could know whether Jacob
married her in Germany or PA. The Mennonite census in Germany indicates that
he was married with children. All this depends on proper identification and
whether or not they died before he left or if the wife died and he left those
children with relatives, etc. My connection is through Christian Zety, son of
Peter. Christian came to upper EastTN about 1805and his daughter and other
family members moved to SE TN (where I live) in the 1840's.
