Merle,

My Stump knowledge is quite limited. I descend from Catharine Stump
m.c.1761 Peter Royer, so I'm interested. But I have done very little Stump
research.

It is true that a "John Stump und weib" are listed among those baptised in
1748 by Michael Frantz. One would presume they were born in the 1720s, but
I don't know anything further about them.

IF Jacob Stump d.1748 had only two children, this John Stump is not Jacob's
descendant. Jacob's son Peter was b.c.1728. But perhaps Jacob had other
children.
