These are one of the existing church families at the Stonelick Church of
the Brethren - MY Church!!! - we are working on their line - they still
maintain some contacts back to Middletown Valley MD (since 1808) - no -
they are not of the Barbara Hauver line - and I don't have the Grossnickle
Book to find the actual connections (Yes - there is a Grossnickle Book)

>In the description of the cemetery it was called an "abandoned cemetery".

The Stouder Cemetery is OLD -no its not abandoned -it is the site of the
original log Obannon Church Building -c1820. [The Obannon Church began
-tradition- in 1795, with an Elder David Stouder (maybe Stover?) from
Kentucky] Yes -there has been vandalism.

Now - I'm working on these families which moved to Obannon/Stonelick -
including the Stouders -who came from Cambria County - and probably
elsewhere! (I'm at the point of suggesting that they may REALLY be
STOVERs!) Would you send me -at least- your early families!!! -I'll
compare/exchange!! This is where I started ALL that Research I've been
giving on the Net! [check my Stonelick query -April 7, 98]
