The Waters were orig. Vasser from Germany. My grandfather John Horning
Waters' parents were in Upper Province, Montgomery Co., Pa. in 1850
census: Pts: Jacob & Mary (Horning?) Jacob's fa was John, d: 1842, mo
Hannah. I believe they were converted from Lutheran to Brethren abt 1840.
Traveled to ne Illinois with David Rittenhouse group going to annual
conference. I need early history of the Vasser/Waters family.
