Hi Lynn,
The ULRICH family mentioned is of the emigrant Hans Adam ULRICH who
emigrated from Büchig, Baden-Durlach in the Rhineland in 1738. He came with
his wife, Juliana and infant son Adam. The first American record is found
in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tulpehocken, Berks Co PA in 1743. He
was considered a "good Lutheran". He settled in what is now Annville,
Lebanon County PA and attended the Hill Church (a joint Reformed & Lutheran
congregation at that time.)
In this booklet there is mention of Hans Adam's older brother Hans Georg,
who died before maturity. Also is mentioned their father Hans Georg ULRICH
and mother Anna Catharina NAGEL and grandfather Hans Martin ULRICH (d 1648)
and wife Maria Catharina ?. Lutheran church records are referred to.
So to try to answer your question, there does not appear to be a connection
between Christopher (PA) & Stephen (MD).
