Subject: Rev. SHAWALTER, HAWLEY, ULRICH, SWEENEY

My Great Grandmother Christianna HAWLEY b. 3 Dec. 1835 in Stark Co. Ohio was
married twice by the Reverand Shawalter. Once to Henry ULRICH in about
1853, and once to John SWEENEY m. 2 Jan. 1859. Christina's Obituary stated
that Cristina SWEENEY cleaved to the Church of the Brethren early in life.
Her Marriages probably took place in Beaver Creek Twp in Greene co as that
is where her family was shown in the 1850 and 1860 census.

Does anyone have anything on the above names? Was the Rev. Shawalter a
Brethren minister? Did the Brethren have a Meeting house in Beaver Creek
Twp?
