Hey. Charles doesn't ring a bell, but I had a James Waggoner who was married
in Auglaize Co. around 1850. I'll check for Charles and see what I can do.
Anyone else have any Waggoners out there?

Dear Ferne,

I'm wondering if the following might be noted in the Encyclopedia
index:

CHARLES WAGGONER - He would have been presiding elder of the
Auglaize (OH) Church in the mid-1800's. Family records have the family
as Dunkards. He died in 1879.

WILLIAM E.STICKLER - William was a German Baptist preacher for over
60 years, probably first in OH and definitley later in Appanoose
County, IA. He died in 1905.

William was a brother to my ancestor, JOHN STICKLER. John and his
family were also Dunkards. Charles was John's brother-in-law. I'd be
happy to cover mailing and copying costs for any information. Please
let me know where to remit.

Thanks very much,

Jane Steel Wilken
