Bradford, William. 1722-1791. Militia officer (Col.), printer, bookseller, businessman, b. New York, N.Y.
Opened printery and bookstore in Philadelphia, 1742, published widely circulated "Weekly Advertiser, or Pennsylvania Journal," from 1742; opposed Stamp Act; Son of Liberty; saw action at Trenton; severly wounded at Princeton; called "patriot- printer of 1776."
I am not related to this person, I am just passing on this information, which comes from a book titled "People & Events of the American Revolution" by Dupuy/Hammerman. R.R. Bowker Company, 1974. pg.292.
