I've "rescued" an old bible which appears to have belonged to Robert Watson
SHAW and his wife Emma Matilda BRADFORD of Pennsylvania. Family records and
other information contained in the bible include:

With limited research I do find Emma SHAW with four children living in
Derry, PA during the 1880 census. Emma is listed as 59, born in PA, to
parents born in NY and PA respectively. Living with her are Emma M. age 27,
Charles W. age 25, Ella M. age 20, and John F. age 19, all having been born
in PA as were both of their parents.

I also find record of Teresa K. DUFUR living with her parents in Lewiston,
PA with her parents Harrison H. & Sofia DUFUR during the 1880 census.
Teresa was listed as age 15, born in PA to parents born in PA and Germany
respectively. I also find death records for Joseph WHARTON born 24 Feb 1885
and died December 1972 in St Petersburg, Florida.

I am hoping to find someone from this family so that this wonderful old
family bible can once again be in the care of family. If you are a member
of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.
