Dear Ms Hudspeth:

I live in Lexington and would be happy to stop by the County Clerk's office
to look for John Bradford's will. But you should know that the whole
Bluegrass area is still thawing out & cleaning up from a horrendous ice
storm that's had us paralysed for nearly two weeks now. So it may be a
while. But if you haven't heard from me in a couple of weeks, rattle my
cage.

I presume you know that your John Bradford was an important figure in the
early history of this part of the world & that his house is still standing.
If you don't have a copy of the entry on him in _The Kentucky Encylopedia_
let me know & I'll send that as well. It also has references to a couple of
articles about him in scholarly journals.

What's your "real mail" address?

Yours,
Joseph Gardner
