Alice Bowman, PELHAM
Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003
PELHAM-Alice Bowman, 81, of Mammoth Road died Sunday at Southern
New Hampshrie Medical Center. She was born in Dorchester, Mass., the
daughter of Stephen and Alice (Tolman) Bradford. She attended Dorchester
School of Pracitcal Arts in Dorchester, Mass. Bowman livedin Nashua before
moving to Pelham, where she lived for 27 years. She was a volunteer at White
Wing Head Start in the 1960s. She enjoyed music and crafts. Survivors
include her husband, George Bowman; six sons, George Bowman Jr. of
Concord, Dennis Bowman of Brighton, Mass., Ronald Bowman and William
Bowman, both of Nashua, Stephen Bowman of Goffstown and Robert
Bowman of Hollis; two daughters, Linda Garside of Hudson and Cheryl
Doherty of Batavia, N.Y.; two brothers, William Bradford and David
Bradford, both of North Port, Fla.; a sister, Lois Delaney of North Port, Fla.;
seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will not be held. Funeral services and burial will be held privately.
Memorial donations may be made to Home Health and Hospice Care, 22
Prospect St., Nashua 03060. Davis Funeral Home in Nashua is in charge of
the arrangements.
Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are.
This is here as a lasting memorial for Mrs. Bowman.
